This thermometer is easy and quick (10-20 second reading) to use. It beeps when finished. It alerts you if it registers a fever by beeping an alarm and changing colors according to the degree of the fever. The readings can be clearly read on the large LCD display. The soft, flexible tip on the probe makes it nice for my children while they are half asleep because anyone knows we don't like a hard stick jammed in our mouth when we already are groggy and not feeling well. You can use it orally, under the arm or rectal. Even when one is not feeling well it is fun to use. Very affordable and everyone should have it in the medicine cabinet just in case. I would recommend this product to all.
