I received these two silicone ice cube trays, one blue and one green. Each tray serves 15, one inch cubes of ice. These are perfect for drinking glasses. I know I've heard a lot about the residue left on the ice cubes, however I confirmed this is just hard water. I only use bottled water because in my city, our tap is known to cause cancer... No joke. I tested Tap and bottled water in each tray and it proves that bottled water did NOT have residue. Which is good because after reading some of the comments, I was about to toss them. I'm a little finicky on chemicals and such that me and my family could possibly be drinking from. I have not noticed a smell. They are silicone and can hold up to 450° heat. The silicone material makes it easier and more flexible to dispense the ice however like all trays, they can get stuck. The flexibility is one up on plastic trays because there is no cracking them. They are low maintenance on cleaning. I have not noticed a smell nor have I had problems stacking. The only reason it's not four stars is due to the ice getting stuck sometimes making it hard to extract however, I really don't know what material could prevent this. They are fun size and kids really love the fitting in their sippy cups. I would definitely recommend and plan on purchasing more.
