This lantern is definitely a unique gadget. It will come in handy for camping, hiking, hunting, or just back yard use. It came in a small box and I was like, "that's it"? It deflates so small and will make it compact and easy to store or carry along. The remote was in the box as well and is very tiny so downfall to that is it could easily be lost however it still works without it. There is three buttons on the remote, on, off, and mode switch. It has seven solid colorful colors then 2 flashing modes that go from fading from one color to the next or constant change in flashing colors. My children immediately loved it. We charged it up and there is an indicator to let you know when it's charged. It takes quite a but to charge but I guess you just need to lay it out during the day if you plan on using it that evening. Overall, this is very neat and would make a great gift for outdoorsy people. :) This product was offered at lower cost for the purpose of inspection and for an unbiased review.
