This is super bright. Ordered for my husband who has one but complains it's cheap and doesn't shine enough. He used this working on the car and could not believe the brightness! My 11 year old son steals it to use all the time playing outside after dark. Great for all ages. It offers several different light modes. High light, Low Light, Red Light, White light & Red light strobe with one button to control. It takes three AAA batteries. Definitely recommend and would make a great gift.
